Farm-to-Table Dining, Restaurant Reviews, Food Trends
  • Maggie cooked her first meal at age nine: Mad Hatter Meatballs from the Betty Crocker Cookbook for Kids.
  • She accidentally put a restaurant out of business by giving them a rave review.
  • She is the author of "Un-Settling," a manifesto for women ready to stop settling for a life less than they deserve.

Experience

Maggie has been writing since she was old enough to hold a crayon and published her first "book" in her elementary school library. Since then, she's written Addy Award-winning radio commercials at the helm of an eponymous ad agency, ten years of restaurant criticism in a monthly column, and countless blog posts and essays commenting on food, culture, and health. Ghostwriter, story coach, book doctor, and developmental editor, she shepherds both fiction and non-fiction from first drafts to final and helps writers self-publish. She comes by her obsession with food by both nature and nurture, and is at present preoccupied with learning how to juggle burners on an electric stove and creating endless variations on the veggie burger.

Education

Maggie has a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
