Culver's Is Adding A Cherished Fish Sandwich And Dinner To Menus

With Ash Wednesday coming up on March 5, many folks around the country will soon be making some dietary adjustments. Lamb is a classic part of the Easter dinner table, but before it arrives, many Christians abstain from eating meat during Lent, the 40-day period before Easter arrives. Giving those taking part another option for a delicious meal, fast-casual restaurant Culver's is releasing a limited-time fish option that is sure to give McDonald's Filet-O-Fish a run for its money.

Beginning February 24, Culver's will offer customers the Northwoods Walleye Sandwich or Dinner. The hand-battered fish can be ordered on a bun with your typical fish sandwich toppings or as a larger plate with sides like fries and coleslaw. Fish lovers are in for a special treat with this limited-time offer, but the dish is a fan-favorite. That means that if you want to get your hands on one, Culver's recommends arriving early before it sells out for the day.

Other menu options at Culver's for Lent

If you miss out on the Northwoods Walleye, Culver's has some other seafood staples that will satisfy your fish craving. The North Atlantic Cod Sandwich or Dinner is available year-round and features hand-battered cod with all the herbs and spices that make fried fish exceptional. The sandwich is topped with tartar sauce, lettuce, and Wisconsin cheddar all tucked between a toasted hoagie roll, while the dinner option is served with a side of tartar sauce, a dinner roll, and two classic side dishes.

Another permanent menu item folks can enjoy during Lent is the Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp Value Basket or Dinner. The dinner can be ordered as a six or 10-piece option and comes with crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, and a dinner roll. The Value Basket comes with six pieces of lightly breaded shrimp, a side dish, and a soft drink. For anyone having difficulty deciding which seafood option to order, Culver's is giving folks a chance to add three pieces of Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp to any Value Basket, making it a little easier to abstain from red meat before Easter Sunday.
