Coors Light's 2025 Super Bowl Ad Is How Everyone Will Feel A Day After The Big Game

What began as someone having a case of the Mondays resulting in a typo for Coors Light has now been transformed into a fully-fledged marketing campaign. A simple misspelling of the word "refreshment" was posted to billboards and in national publications as "refershment" in a series of advertisements, and Coors decided to embrace the absurdity by releasing cases of its domestic beer labeled "Mondays Light." To capitalize on the campaign, the beer producer is airing a Super Bowl commercial emphasizing how many folks feel the day after scarfing down some of the many, many chicken wings consumed during the Super Bowl. It features sloths trying to accomplish everyday tasks in a comically slow fashion.

In the ad, sloths struggle to respond to emails and bag groceries. One scene showcases a sloth starting a fire in a commercial kitchen, while another displays a thrilling slow-speed chase outside a bank. Ultimately, someone snags a case of Mondays Light, allowing the sloths to chill with a can of beer as cold as the Rockies. The Super Bowl ad will air during the first half of the clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9, and if you see it when it airs, there is a chance Coors will give you a Case of the Mondays for yourself.

Coors wants all of its fans to get on board with its limited-edition packaging by following the company on Instagram — and it will reward some lucky beer enthusiasts with a case of Monday Light on the house. Winners will be notified via a DM to claim the free beer, which will be awarded as a $14 payment.
