Uber Eats' 2025 Super Bowl Ad Features Food Celebrity Royalty
It's the most wonderful time of the year ... for real, this time. Budweiser's 2025 teaser ad has officially kicked off the Super Bowl commercial blitz, which is nothing short of a holiday period for the pop-culture-obsessed among us. While the big game is still a couple of weeks away, we're already eager to scope out all the food ads and plug them into a ranking similar to the one we completed in 2024. One early bird on the Super Bowl ad scene is Uber Eats. The company uploaded a super cute commercial featuring hitmaker Charli XCX and none other than the empress of food celebrities, Martha Stewart.
In the teaser ad, Charli XCX, the central figure of the "brat summer" phenomenon, and Stewart, whose over-the-top catering displays wowed us during the premiere of her bio-documentary back in November, play a game of "we listen and we don't judge." During the game, they gently rib each other while promoting Uber Eats' food delivery service.
Two queens of pop culture set the stage for the big game
Bridging the generational gap and flavors of pop-culture fame, Martha Stewart and Charli XCX repeat the TikTok-trend phrase "we listen and we don't judge" with increasingly outrageous one-liners. Stewart quips that she thought "Charli XCX" was the Wi-Fi password, and admits to having no idea who the musician is. Charli XCX, for her part, jokes that she thought Stewart was there to provide the catering, and claims she has no idea what a "Super Bowl" is — but assumes it's "something [she] could order on Uber Eats."
Given that Charli XCX was behind one of the most talked-about albums of last year, it's no surprise that she's very much in the public eye. The fact that Martha Stewart remains relevant in 2025, despite the relentless churn of social media virality and ever-shifting attention spans, is a testament to just how cool she is. We always hold space for Stewart's endeavors 'round these parts, so we're just happy to see the rest of the world keeping up.
