Chick-Fil-A Kicks Off The New Year With Key Lime Beverages

Chick-fil-A fans are in for a bit of a nostalgic treat to ring in the new year. In 2019, the chicken chain introduced the Key Lime Frosted Lemonade as a limited-time menu option. Starting Tuesday, January 7, it is reintroducing the sweet drink for another run while it also happens to be working to produce a streaming service. The beverage will be featured next to a never-before-seen drink: the Key Lime Lemonade.

The Key Lime Frosted Lemonade drink is a special blend of the restaurant's lemonade mixed with soft-serve vanilla ice cream and Key lime flavoring. As Chick-fil-A told Foodie, Chick-fil-A Culinary Lead Christy Cook tested 12 versions of the milkshake-adjacent treat before finding just the right combination of flavors customers fell in love with years ago. 

True to its name, the new Key Lime Lemonade has Key lime flavoring and Chick-fil-A lemonade, but is made without ice cream. But wait, there's more! If you want some food to go along with your tasty beverage, the restaurant will soon feature another returning favorite that pairs perfectly with these refreshments.

As predicted via a leaked preview of Chick-fil-A's 2025 menu, the restaurant is breathing new life into its once-beloved Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich. On January 7, Chick-fil-A customers can order the nostalgic fan favorite from 2021, which still stars a grilled chicken breast seasoned with a spicy blend of pepper. It will also have Colby Jack cheese, lettuce, and tomato nestled between the halves of a multigrain brioche bun. To top it off, the sandwich will feature a cilantro lime sauce to complement the spicy elements that make this fast food classic so bold.

With a peppery sandwich, some waffle fries, and Chick-fil-A's signature dipping sauce (not to mention two tasty beverage options to wash it all down), 2025 is shaping up to be a flavorful year for fans of the fast food chain. All the new additions to Chick-fil-A's menu will be available nationwide at participating locations. However, they'll only be here for a limited time, so make sure to pencil in a trip to the chicken chain before these menu items are gone.
